When ROM updates rain, they pour... I guess. XDA Stellar users (Those who have devices that eerily look like a HTC TyTN II) may be interested in a Windows 6.1 update now available for their devices. Looks like all those Krazy Kaisers world round will have soon (or have now) 6.1. Anyone throw the Steller update on and have any opinion?

As a service to everyone reading this, I'm not going to include the pretty bad photo that accompanied this news throughout the internets. But suffice it to say that Sprint picking up the diamond is a pretty good move and not too unanticipated either - their sales of the Touch seem to be doing pretty well, and they have a high-speed network that can handle the load and make the experience all the better. Any way you cut it, the Diamond seems to be coming up quickly in the world of mobile device.

News today that should make any V1615 Power user a bit happy - the Windows Mobile 6.1 Upgrade for that unit is now available from Vodafone's Website. Having updated my TyTN II to the HTC ROM available a few weeks back, I've generally noticed some good and some bad. It looks like there may be a memory leak somewhere, and I'm not a big fan of Threaded SMS - but a few issues did go away. Anyone upgrading their unit's today?

"Up to this point, we’ve primarily focused on helping users effortlessly bring their mobile phone and content it captures up to the web. But that is only part of the vision and experience we want to provide for users, and today we're excited to be releasing a new version of our mobile software to help people more seamlessly integrate their mobile and web worlds. Available on http://m.dashwire.com for Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6, below is a preview of the new features:
- Graphical phone experience featuring user avatar, status updates, and media gallery
- Mobile access to photos & videos located on your Dashwire web account – even if the actual media files aren’t on your phone
- Photo uploads from your computer to your Dashwire web account, which then automatically appear on your phone
- Media editing, blogging, and sharing with friends – on the go as you’re capturing your experiences
- Direct status updates to Facebook & Twitter
- Privacy controls & media publishing"

Holy new features Batman! Dashwire is a simple way to really get more out of your Windows Mobile device, and it looks like they've decided that no longer should it be phone -> web, but also web -> phone in the current release. A beefed up Mobile client (Which I'm running on Windows Mobile 6.1 right now with no problems) and some nice new features make Dashwire easy to love. Oh, and the price is right too...FREE!
