"Sure, the Samsung i760 may be getting a bit long in the tooth, but there’s nothing like a little OS refresh and added functionality to breathe new life into an aging dinosaur. Originally scheduled for a June launch, Verizon has officially released the Windows Mobile 6.1 update for is i760 handset. There’s nothing as sexy as EV-DO Rev. A support in there, but if the following list of improvements don’t get you excited about your oddly-shaped slide out QWERTY mobile companion, then we’re pretty sure there’s no hope left for you"
ROM Updates are always exciting times. If you're feeling like a change (and a re-setup of your phone), download the update for the i760 and enjoy the new features outlined in this Boy Genius article!

"phoneAlarm is a Today screen plugin - giving you total control over your Pocket PC Phone. Never miss an important call, SMS or Email again. Automatically switch profiles and quickly access Inbox, call history and control the state of bluetooth directly from the Today screen. Optimised for one-handed and in-car use."
phoneAlarm is what phone profiles should be - fully customizable and with a plethora of options to make your phone behave as it should. I personally love the ability to change profiles based on the appointment category. When in full schedule swing (during the fall and spring), I have many appointments that require different profile settings. When I'm going to a seminar, I want the phone muted (So I have a "Mute Phone" category), however when I'm teaching, vibrating alarms are better, so I can be sneaky and check messages during a pause in my lecture. Head on over and check out the new version - I plan on doing so myself within the next few weeks!

When ROM updates rain, they pour... I guess. XDA Stellar users (Those who have devices that eerily look like a HTC TyTN II) may be interested in a Windows 6.1 update now available for their devices. Looks like all those Krazy Kaisers world round will have soon (or have now) 6.1. Anyone throw the Steller update on and have any opinion?

As a service to everyone reading this, I'm not going to include the pretty bad photo that accompanied this news throughout the internets. But suffice it to say that Sprint picking up the diamond is a pretty good move and not too unanticipated either - their sales of the Touch seem to be doing pretty well, and they have a high-speed network that can handle the load and make the experience all the better. Any way you cut it, the Diamond seems to be coming up quickly in the world of mobile device.
